They began their service in the 2010 and in the year 2011 they launched at multiple cities all over India alongside custom mobile applications that connect the service providers, vendors, and the users.
 By the year 2013, they raised US$16.7 million.
They call it, Zomato.

An employee of Microsoft Bangalore, joined hands with a dual degree graduate who had several years of experience working at multiple startups, came up with an idea, subsequent to his bad experience with a cab driver.
Idea: A quality cab booking service.

What sets them apart?
An online transportation network company, with 5000+ employees and a yearly profit of US$−110 million.
HOW?
In the year 2010, instead of buying and renting cars they partnered with a number of taxi drivers and gave them the magical touch of technology. A customized mobile application using which people could book their cabs, around the clock.
They named it, OLA.
And the rest was history.
